Department of Environmental Protection provides hands-on, interactive presentations to get kids (and parents) more connected to where electricity comes from and the importance of not wasting it. Join us for a fun morning of card making. Ms. Cyndie Carroll will demonstrate the basic techniques such as stamping, embossing and cutting dies. Under the Sea--A Day at the Beach

Celebrate summer by taking a virtual tour of a beach on the Atlantic coast and learning about beach features like sand, waves, tides, dunes, and jetties. Children will meet some of the animals that call beaches home and learn about beach food chains during this lively and educational presentation by a marine scientist. This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, Inc. This is a summertime program for children of all ages and their families. Space is limited; free tickets will be handed out 30 minutes before the program begins.
