Read to a Dog

Read to Vega, a certified therapy dog. We especially encourage the participation of beginning readers, or those who want to improve their reading skills. First come, first served. Tickets will be given out one-hour before the program. This is a summertime program.

Vet Center Registration & Referral Services

Intake and referral services for Veterans and active duty Service members, including members of the National Guard and Reserve components.

Services provided include:
- Individual and group counseling for Veterans, Service members, and their families
- Family counseling for military related issues
- Bereavement counseling for families who experience an active duty death
- Military sexual trauma counseling and referral
- Outreach and education including PDHRA, community events, etc.
- Substance abuse assessment and referral
- Employment assessment & referral
- VBA benefits explanation and referral
- Screening & referral for medical issues including TBI, depression, etc.

Vet Center services are also provided to family members of Veterans and Service members for military related issues when it is found aid in the readjustment of those that have served.
This includes bereavement counseling for families who experience an active duty death.

Mario and Bella are a pair of spirited Jack Russell Terriers who love performing tricks for their audience. Reggie is mix Border Collie/Aussie that has recently joined the team. Come watch them ride a skateboard, jump rope, roll on a barrel, do a walking handstand, set a table, and even read! We\'ll capture your heart and send you away with a smile.
