 Have you been interested in mindfulness and meditation, but not sure how to get started?

Mindfulness is the ability to be fully present in our own lives, to be aware of what we are doing as we are doing it. As we develop our awareness, we are better able to engage with the world and not be overwhelmed by it.

During these sessions, we will explore mindfulness as a daily practice and become familiar with conscious breathing, sitting meditation, and walking meditation.

We will explore many aspects of mindfulness:

•What are we doing when we meditate?

•How to deal with obstacles to mindfulness?

•What is the relationship between mindfulness and self-compassion?

•How can we bring mindfulness into everyday activities?

•How can we be mindful in relating to other people?
