 The St. Mary’s County Library and the Nonprofit Institute of the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) are collaborating to present an overview of researching grant opportunities and the grant writing process. In this 2 hour session, Diann Thompson of the Lexington Park Library will facilitate a hands-on demonstration of using the Foundation Center databases to find sources for grants. Tammy Vitale of the Nonprofit Institute of CSM will lead a review of the strategy for applying for grants. Participants will leave with enough information to begin their grant seeking and writing work. Registration required.
