Have you ever wanted to stand up and tell your own story? Need to tell a story at a family gathering or at your next staff meeting at work? Now is your chance to learn how to choose, develop, craft, and rehearse a story to tell in front of others. Designed to kick off the "Creating a Community of Storytellers" institute, this 90-minute session will introduce the titles and instructors of the free, five-week course and then jump right in with hands-on activities to get you thinking about how you’ll apply storytelling for YOU. Professional storytellers from the Storytellers of San Diego will expertly guide you through the process of creating a plan for the classes you want to take and the skills you want to learn. Time for Q & A with the storytellers and to sign up for classes will follow the session. No registration is required for this initial session; attendance is limited to seats on hand.
