How to Write Your Life Story

This 6-session workshop with writing coach, G. Rose Tutay, is for those who desire to write & reflect on their life, & put on paper (scrapbook or journal) their favorite memories and lessons learned in life. At the conclusion of the writing workshop, each participant will have produced a collection of stories, with photos, & other memorabilia- a heritage keepsake that can be given as a gift to children & grandchildren, & passed on to future generations.

Battle of the Books Coaches' Kick-Off Meeting

Team registration forms for Battle of the Books will be available at the library's reception desk beginning Monday, Dec. 1, 2009. Registration is limited to the first twelve teams to return their registration form. All teams must register by the Coaches-Only Kick-Off meeting, Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the library meeting room. At this meeting titles for this year's Battle will be announced, a set of books for each team will be distributed, and a discussion of coaches' responsibilities will be conducted. Coaches will also have the opportunities to see a DVD of a previous year's Battle. Bring your questions and, if you've been a coach before, your suggestions for "newbies!"
