Orin Gelderloos,professor of biology and environmental studies at the UofM Dearborn is back! March marks the beginning of the annual bird migration that continues through May in our area. This presentation will address these questions: Are the Herculean migratory performances of birds which travel north to nest worth the effort? How do they get their energy? How do they find their way? What are the different types of migratory patterns? How do we learn about their migration routes and nesting locations?
