Founded at the University of Michigan, the Ivalas Quartet is comprised of violinists Anita Dumar and Reuben Kebede, violist Caleb Georges, and cellist Pedro Sánchez. This outstanding group was recently awarded first prize in the 2018 Briggs Chamber Music Competition, and named a semifinalist group at both the M-Prize competition and Concert Artists Guild competition in New York.
