Let's celebrate unity! Join us for a free delicious hot breakfast, music, special guest speakers including members of the Tuskegee Airmen, and others. Youth, teens, and adults may submit a poem or essay, 500 words or less, on “Vision For a Unified Nation”. Winners will be selected from each age category, announced at the breakfast, receive a prize, and allowed to read their submission. Finalists will receive a unity certificate of recognition. Email essays and poems to Gail Anderson; ganderson@novilibrary.org by January 8th. If a student, include name, grade, school, and contact information. Children participants, middle school or younger must provide parent or guardian contact information. Children ages 5-10 will meet in Youth Activity Room to make crafts and have refreshments.
