Michigan Department of Treasury’s MI Student Aid is Michigan's go-to financial aid resource. Whether its scholarships or grants, they work to make college accessible, achievable & affordable. MI Student Aid’s Outreach Team will present an overview of state financial aid resources in which attendees will learn about state financial aid programs; discuss leveraging state aid with other forms of financial aid, such as institutional and federal aid to achieve maximum college affordability; analyze financial aid as it appears in a financial aid award letter to craft college financing strategies; identify resources to assist eligible students in accessing financial aid; and learn specific scholarship search methods.
