Let’s celebrate unity! Join us for a FREE delicious hot breakfast, music from area schools, speakers, and fellowship. Youth, teens, and adults may submit a poem or essay, 100 words or less, on “The Power of Unity”. Winners will be selected from each age category, announced at the breakfast, receive a prize, and allowed to read their submission. Finalists will receive a unity certificate of recognition. Grand Prizes will be awarded. Email essays and poems to Gail Anderson; ganderson@novilibrary.org by January 8th. If a student, include name, grade, school, and contact information. Children participants, middle school or younger must provide parent or guardian contact information. Children may also make unity cookies, friendship bracelets and other crafts in the Activity Room.
