 This documentary tells the remarkable story of Alice Tregay, an unsung heroine of the Civil Rights movement who brought her community in Chicago together to stand up to injustice. From marches with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to the election of Barack Obama, Tregay spent five decades advocating for equal housing, school integration, political action, and education. She also works to inspire youth to be involved in the democratic process. Director Craig Dudnick introduces the film and participates in a Q&A after the screening.
