 Recent years have witnessed a growing fascination with jewelry in America, how it was worn in the past, and how it relates to public figures who wore it. This lecture looks at the jewelry of Martha Washington, Mary Todd Lincoln, and Jackie Kennedy and sets these prized possessions within historical context.
