New volunteers in the Adult Literacy Program are required to attend an orientation before getting started with a One to One student for ESL, GED or Adult Basic Literacy. This orientation will cover basics of working with adult learners in a student centered program, library/volunteer policies and what to expect when volunteering in the Adult Literacy Program.
