Attending a new volunteer orientation is mandatory for new volunteers in the Adult Literacy Program (ALP). We will discuss library and program policies for ALP volunteers as well as basics of Adult Education Theory. ALP volunteers need to be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college is preferred.
