Part II focuses on Dreamweaver's web site management tools for organizing a site and uploading pages. Attendance at Dreamweaver Part I recommended.

Introduction to Photoshop (Olin/Uris)

A hands-on introduction to image manipulation using the Adobe Photoshop CS3 software. Learn about image file formats, color correction, how to touch up photos and ready images for print or web publishing. We will practice with basic Photoshop tools used for selecting and altering forms, adjusting brightness, contrast and color saturation, and converting and resizing images. No previous experience required.

Introduction to Video Editing with Adobe Premiere (Olin/Uris)

When: Wednesday November 25th, 2009 - 10:00 AM

This workshop will cover the basics of video editing with Adobe Premiere. Includes: importing clips to Adobe Premiere, working with multiple clips, transitioning between clips, basic visual effects, working with imported audio, and exporting to digital format.

Why waste time visiting all the different sites you use when you can let those sites tell you when they have new information? This session will discuss the use of new technologies that allow you to subscribe to web sites, blogs, and other sources of information and visit only one source to be informed and review the most current news. Advanced RefWorks (Olin/Uris)

Make your paper or thesis citations flawless. Go beyond the basics with such features as using import filters, editing output styles, and sharing citations using RSS feeds. Attendance at a previous RefWorks class or familiarity with the software is a prequisite for this class.
