 The computer and the Internet are powerful tools for genealogists, but you do not have to be a professional to use them effectively. Participants will be introduced to basic tools and concepts for online genealogical research. The session will concentrate on giving you hands-on experience searching the federal census online in two genealogical databases, Ancestry and HeritageQuest, as well as show you how to explore the many resources available on the Web and here at Cornell.
