 The computer and the Internet are powerful tools for genealogists, but you do not have to be a professional to use them effectively. Participants will be introduced to basic tools and concepts for online genealogical research. The course will concentrate on giving you hands-on experience with two genealogical databases, Ancestry and HeritageQuest, as well as show you how to explore the many resources available on the Web and here at Cornell.
