“ALICE,” an acronym for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, presents a broad picture of financial insecurity at the state, county, and town level, and the reasons why. Organizations across the country are using this data to better understand the struggles and needs of their employees, customers, and communities. The result is that ALICE is rapidly becoming part of the common vernacular, appearing in the media, and is stimulating a fresh, nonpartisan dialogue about how to improve conditions for this growing population of families living paycheck to paycheck.

Join CCPL in conjunction with the United Way of Charles County for stimulating conversation and ideas surrounding community collaboration.
