Do you like to write? Perform in front of a group? Compete? Then sign up for the Baldwin Poetry Slam-tacular! Each month we will host a practice where you can write, perform, and receive feedback. Then in December, come prepared for an open mike and a regular poetry slam. Perform or dramatize your poetry or someone else's with music, costume, or just your voice. Solo in a group - memorize or read! Coached by Mr. Rick Joseph, Birmingham teacher and participant in the Oakland Writing Project. Registration required for performers. Grades K-8 and adults.
